One of the most frequent questions we get is, “What should I mix my kencko with?” We put together this little Mixology 101 to help you decide.

We made kencko to go wherever you go, and that’s why most flavors work just fine with plain, reliable, cold water (chilled for preference, definitely not hot or sparkling!) However, with water as your mixer, your smoothie will take on a more juice-like texture. Nothing wrong with juice! But if it's a creamier consistency you crave, then you'll likely want to shake up your smoothie with your favorite type of milk.

It's worth noting that certain flavors - namely, our green ones - were designed solely with water in mind. Sure, you can mix up greens with milk, but the thickness combined with a more leafy flavor profile might not be for everyone, while a light, refreshing green drink is hard to argue with.

On the other end of the spectrum are our chocolatey smoothies, golds and mochas. Our chefs and Registered Dietitians perfected these flavors to shine when combined with the creaminess of something like oat or almond milk. Similarly, you could make one of these smoothies with water - and if you enjoy it, great! - but we don't necessarily recommend it.

Remember, these are just our recommendations! There are infinite ways to include kencko in your life, whether that's mixed into yogurt or overnight oats, incorporated into that adventurous new baking project, or some other use that kencko's copywriter can't even begin to fathom.

Ultimately, you’ll find that all your favorite flavors take on a whole new character when you switch things up a bit. If you uncover a kencko combo that's out of this world, don’t forget to share your recipe with us on Instagram – just tag @kencko.
